Crews battle brush fire near Tweed New Haven Airport

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - Officials say a brush fire broke out on Coe Avenue in East Haven on Tuesday. The fire affected around 10 acres of a marsh near Calabro Cheese, which had to be evacuated temporarily. Crews spent several hours containing the blaze, located less than a quarter-mile from Tweed New Haven Airport.
