Alabama under a flash flood warning until Sunday morning

A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 2:57 a.m. in effect until 6 a.m. for Fayette, Lamar, Marion and Walker counties. "At 2:57 a.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
