Weather alert issued for strong thunderstorms in Baldwin County until 3:45 a.m. Saturday

The National Weather Service issued a report at 3:05 a.m. on Saturday for strong thunderstorms until 3:45 a.m. for Baldwin County. Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 50 mph. "At 3:05 a.m., Doppler radar tracked strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Dauphin Island to 15 miles southeast of Fort Morgan. Movement was northeast at 35 mph," according to the weather service. "Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects."
