Jussie Smollett Loses Conviction Appeal

Jussie Smollett has lost his conviction appeal, the Appellate Court of Illinois decided Friday. The decision comes after the actor sought out a new trial in the case, in which he was found guilty on five counts of felony disorderly conduct regarding his role in a hate crime hoax in 2021.
